It was with such great pleasure that Anne Norman came to Shipton Quilters last Wednesday to be presented with a cheque for £2880.11 forhttp://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/?gclid=CL_l_6TD0KkCFUoc4QodmBLRNg  HELP THE HEROES.

Anne spoke about how out money would be used to rehabilitate wounded soldiers not just in body but in mind also.

We were all honoured to be involved in making this quilt that made such a lot of money for this worthy cause.

Great job ladies and BIG THANKS to all our boys out there who are fighting the cause for us.

CHARITY FUND RAISING QUILT

 

Tonight was a show and tell of all the items that are going to be on display at our next Exhibition in April 2011.

Seeing all the quilts was a feast for the eyes and I can tell you it is going to be another great exhibition .

We have chosen HELP FOR HEROES as out charity for this exhibition and everyone in the group has contributed to making this fabulous quilt. It is such a worthy cause so we do hope people will dig deep and buy raffle tickets to show their personal support for this fantastic charity.Visit their site here.
