Shipton Quilters 2014 Exhibition

After a hard days work yesterday Shipton is about to open its doors to our 2014 Exhibition.
The venue is just superb, set in beautiful rolling Cotswold country side with views to die for.
You will find a whole mixture of ages and talents and i will give you a few photos to tempt you along over the weekend.

Rendcomb College, nr Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Getting ready in the Orangery. Fortunately for the team that set up this room one of them has a son and his girlfriend that work in the industry of setting up concerts and events.
All the quilts in his room you can see from every angle with no frames to trip up as you walk through.
As I walked round just before the finish last night a gentle breeze came through the room and the quilts just fluttered like they were on the washing line.

More of a Little House on the Prairie theme going on this room.
The Entrance Hall. An Easter theme by this team. Oh look chocolate Easter bunnies to eat.

In another area you will find a room full of English and American antique quilts.
Lots of traders will be on hand to help you spend your money and of course we have a great raffle with the first prize being our lovely raffle quilt.

See you there!!!
